Celebrate the holiday season at Romeoville Village Hall with the warm glow of lights! The grounds of Village Hall and the Police Department will be decked out & twinkling from December 2 – January 1. Explore the different areas and capture the perfect holiday photo with the lights! Join us on December 2 & 3, from 5PM-8PM for the Holiday Lights Festival. Enjoy a variety of outdoor festivities including pictures with Santa, characters, and food.

Children’s Lantern Parade at the Christkindlmarket Aurora 2022

Join the Christkind for the Children’s Lantern Parade at the Christkindlmarket! In November, German children celebrate St. Martin’s Day by carrying lanterns around outside after dark and singing traditional songs. A bit like “trick or treating”, the children are rewarded for their singing and the beauty of their lanterns with sweets and other goodies – in the spirit of the holiday season of sharing and giving. Just like the children in Germany, the kids can enjoy a Lantern Parade at the beautiful Christkindlmarket. The Christkind will stroll with the children around the Christkindlmarket while carrying a lantern and singing songs in English and in German. After the Parade each of the children will receive a goody-bag.

Holiday Lights Display On Water Street

Naper Lights, a holiday light display, will be creating a Winter Wonderland at Water Street. The display, a gift to the community organized by Naperville Sunrise Rotary, features several giant holiday lights displays, decorated light poles, and trees synchronized to holiday music, The event is free to the public and donations to Naperville Sunrise Rotary are welcomed. Visit Santa on Friday and Saturday evenings. Take your Christmas card family photo!

HHH is having Lunch with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Fat Rickys Romeoville! Come out and take your own pictures with our backdrop, or ask Andrea Kenealy Photography for a digital copy. Surprise from Santa for children under 12. Romeoville Art Society will be there to inspire your child’s creativity! This is a community outreach event, admission is free. No registration is needed. Donations to HHH are appreciated but not mandatory. Come enjoy some holiday fun while supporting a local nonprofit!
