Goebbert’s Farm & Garden Center

Located at 40 W Higgins Rd, South Barrington, IL 60010, Goebbert’s Farm is a family-owned farm with a country store & baker, plus a seasonal produce market & garden center. Fall Festival Attractions include Animal Land (Cows, pigs, goats, baby chicks, birds, and exotic animals such as camels, kangaroos, llamas, zebras, and even a giraffe!), Corn Stalk Maze, Duck Derby, Giraffe Barn(A great close up experience where you can pet and feed a giraffe at eye level), Magic Show, Gem Mining (Each bag is filled with great treasures from all over the world!), Corn Box, Charlotte’s Web, Pony Rides, Pumpkin-Eating Dinosaur, Wagon Rides, Camel Rides, Pig Racing, Haunted House, and Jumping Pillow. Also, make sure to stop by the Red Barn Café & Bakery for some tasty treats, including their famous Apple Cider Donuts and Pumpkin cookies!

Kuipers Family Farm

Located at 1N318 Watson Rd, Maple Park, IL 60151, Kuipers Family Farm offers apple picking and pumpkin selecting for the whole family to make a great tradition to visit year after year! While there is a lot to look at on the farm, this is certainly no museum. Instead running, climbing, adventure, fresh air, unique photo ops and classic fall flavors are growing here by the bushel and now two generations of Kuipers are here to welcome you each fall! Visit the shop and take in the sights, smells and tastes of the country – it’s a MUST SEE! Browse unique items for your home or sample some of the hundreds of specialty foods they carry from the Sample Kitchen. Follow your nose to the Orchard Bakery to pick up some of their famous apple cider doughnuts, home-baked pies and cream & butter fudge. Watch as they hand-spin a caramel apple just for you.  And for a true taste of fall grab a gallon of their freshly-pressed apple cider. If you’re not sure which variety of apple to buy (they grow over 20) the staff at the Apple Bar can offer samples and make suggestions to help you purchase the best variety for your taste and use. Other attractions include pick your own pumpkins, Live Entertainment, Corn Maze, Pig Races, Pedal Tractor Derby, Jumping Pillow, Haunted Forest & Jed’s Scream Shed, Mountain Slide, Tractor Tower Mountain, Haywagon Ride, Back 40 Playground, Farm Animals, Duck Races, Tractor Train, and so much more!

Bengtson’s Pumpkin Farm

Located at 13341 W 151st St, Homer Glen, IL 60491, Bengtson Pumpkin Farm is the premier Fall festival and Pumpkin Patch in the Chicagoland area, with more than 13 rides and many more attractions that are included with the price of admission! Enjoy rides such as the Rooster Rodeo, Barnstormer Wave Swinger, Rockin’ Rabbits, Barrel Blast, and many more! Attractions also include the Gemstone and Arrowhead Mining Sluice, Free Selfie Booth, Pig Races, Hayrides, Haunted Barn, Petting Zoo, as well as the Pumpkin Chucker!

Heaps Giant Pumpkin Farm

Located at 4853 US-52, Minooka, IL 60447, Heaps Giant Pumpkin Farm is open to the public each year for the months of September and October. This family farm raises corn, soybeans and over 90 different varieties of pumpkins, gourds, and squash. Complete your fall décor with a mum (or two or more!), straw bales, corn stalks and of course their beautiful Indian corn! When your family visits the farm, be sure to hang out with the farm animals, challenge your problem-solving skills in the corn maze and bean maze, catch a hayride out to the 25-acre pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin off the vine, play like a king or queen in the newly constructed Milo’s Castle Playground and have some good ole country fun in the Heaps O’ Fun Barn. Make sure to stop in Linda Kay’s Craft Shop for fall décor (especially Linda’s famous centerpiece baskets) and tasty treats (especially the caramel apples… yum!) Oh, and don’t forget to grab one of their famous pork burgers or pumpkin cookies from Papa Heap’s Grill!

Dollinger Family Farm

Located at 7420 E Hansel Rd, Channahon, IL 60410, Dollinger Family Farm offers Old Fashioned Fun on a real farm! Free admission, free parking, pumpkins, gourds, mums, corn stalks, gift shop, playground, farm animals, bee barn, tipi, playground, miniature train ride, corn maze, hayrides, homemade gourmet fudge, taffy apples, kettlecorn, hot cider, food, historical barn, beautiful setting on what used to be the entire town of Dresden, Illinois. A trip to the gift shop is an experience you won’t soon forget. Whether you are looking for a small token to remind you of your visit or a collectible, you can find it at the gift shop. The shelves are stocked with unique fall and Halloween decorations, costume accessories, unique toys, and collections from Mark Roberts, Bethany Lowe and Park Hill Collection.  Pick up hay bales, corn shocks, and mums. And let’s not forget those delicious Dollinger Label jams, jellies, vegetables, their famous Habenero Chunk Pickles, and farm-fresh honey made from the bees on the farm. This is truly a place with a rich history and it’s perfect for making family memories!
