Spring is here. We all start getting excited in the spring because that means summer is almost here! Jalen is jacked because he gets to spend it here.
Camp Friendship Summer Camp is his summer haven. Sports, fun in the sun at the pool, and access to the million dollar Community Arts Center across the street. He usually is mad when we pick him up because he’s having so much fun. We love it because it doesn’t break the bank as we continue to work over the summer. Jalen gets healthy lunches and snacks provided each day, and we know he is safe and well cared for by the counselors. Many of the counselors live right in the neighborhood, too!
We love it for the wooded walking trails, fishing, summer campfires, art festivals, and the beautiful backyard behind the Friendship Centre with gourmet grill areas, fireplaces, bags area, paddleboats, and that beautiful pool! We can catch a theater show, browse an art fair, or just have a picnic in the park. Right down the street is a brand new community park with soccer and ball fields, basketball, and a nature trail. Summer Time is Fun Time at HighPoint!
