A busy lifestyle can mean constantly being on-the-go, and sometimes, you don’t have the time to look for your coffee mug or plan a last-minute outfit. I know how hectic life can be at times, so I wanted to share a few of my own tips for creating an apartment that suits your busy lifestyle.
Coffee and Tea Station
If you need a cup of coffee or tea to start your day, a coffee and tea station is a great idea. Set up your station on your kitchen counter or island for quick access. In addition to your coffee or tea maker, you’re going to need your mug and coffee or tea condiments. You may want to hang your mug and invest in a condiment organizer, or you can place these items on a tray.
Hanging Organizers
It’s easier to find certain items when you hang them up instead of hiding them in drawers and closets. A transparent hanging organizer in the bathroom is perfect for hair accessories, while a hanging organizer in the kitchen can be used for quick snacks. You can use a portable clothing rack or seven-day hanging organizer to plan your outfits in advance.
Mudroom Hutch
Whether your apartment includes a mudroom or an entryway, a mudroom hutch is going to save you a lot of time when heading out the door. It features hooks and compartments for items such as your jacket, hat, bag, sunglasses and keys. I’d recommend a hutch with a bench and underneath storage, as this saves time when putting on your shoes.
Remember, you want to make sure everything is accessible, so you don’t have to spend additional time looking for a certain item.
I don’t mind having a busy lifestyle, and I love my daily life in HighPoint Town Square. My apartment has everything I need to get my day going.
