We have two dogs in our apartment, and we love spending time with them. Do you have dogs? Have you thought of celebrating the holidays with them? Of course, you want to be sure you’re not taking part in activities that could upset them, such as a noisy parade. Luckily, we have come up with several holiday activities to enjoy with your dog.

Photos With Santa Clause

This is the time of year when pet stores and photography studios offer pet photos with Santa Clause. Imagine dressing your dog up in an adorable, but comfortable, outfit to have photos taken with Santa himself. Place the photo in a frame, and it’s the perfect holiday decor for your apartment. Remember, you may need to pay a small fee to have their photo taken with Santa.

Check Out Local Events

There are also pet stores, grooming salons and animal shelters that offer on-site events for celebrating the holidays with your pet. You may need to pay a small fee for admission, while others may only ask for a small donation to go towards animals’ needs. The events may include treats, samples and raffles, as well as information for pet owners.

Stroll Through The Neighborhood

Are you looking for a more personal way to enjoy the holidays with your pup? Why not take a stroll through your neighborhood to see which buildings are decorated for the season? You can enjoy the fresh air, exercise and beautiful displays together. Of course, you want to be mindful of the weather, as it may be too cold for either of you to stay out long.

You can also stay inside and bake cookies and pet treats in your HighPoint Town Square kitchen.

If you’re anything like us, you’re going to enjoy celebrating the holidays with your dog regardless of the activity.
