I always enjoy updating my apartment to fit the new season, and now that fall is here, I’m ready to have fun with my decor! There are several stores nearby that offer beautiful decor fitting of the cozy season. I know others may be excited to decorate for fall, so here are a few stylish fall decor ideas for your apartment.
Switch Out The Fabrics
Now is the time to switch out those vibrant, summer fabrics for some warm, fall fabrics. Throw pillows, or at least the pillowcases, in orange, brown, red or burgundy are perfect for the season. You can also switch out the light sheets for a plaid or faux fur throw blanket to create a cozy space. A rug in fall colors also creates a cozy space, especially if you choose warmer shades such as red and brown.
Add In Wooden Elements
If you’re looking to add in a new piece of furniture for the season, you can never go wrong with wooden elements. Personally, I think the rustic vibe of reclaimed wood is perfect for fall. Imagine a reclaimed coffee table, nightstand or dining table in your apartment! If you want to keep it simple, consider a chair or bench made of reclaimed wood.
Keep It Natural
My favorite thing about natural decorations is you can find them outside or in stores. A flower arrangement of chrysanthemums or goldenrods creates a simple but effective piece, as the vivid colors are bursting with fall-inspired vibes. If you’re venturing outside for your natural decor, gather dried leaves, pine cones and branches to create a centerpiece in a glass vase. Of course, what’s fall without several pumpkins or gourds?
I love adding a new vibe to my HighPoint Town Square apartment, and I hope you’re excited to do the same in your own apartment.
